NEO is pleased to have supported the submission of outline planning application for the provision of up to 250 dwellings and land for a both new early years and childcare nursery facility, and community facility in Bicknacre, Chelmsford.  

The proposal will deliver a landscape-led extension to the settlement, providing much needed new homes in a sustainable village location.  It will also provide improvements to local pedestrian route and enhancements to existing bus infrastructure.  

The site complies with the ‘Golden Rules’ for development within the green belt, with the site comprising grey belt land which will deliver 50% affordable housing.
